What oil can I use other than from the dealer? You see it in so many different brands ect, i cant believe that you can only use the $40 stuff from the dealer...

I have a 1995 Seadoo Speedster.

I also need a new steering wheel, and a new speedometer wheel...

Thank you!

Here is the specs for the oil you can use. I perfer to use seadoo oil as it is the exact oil needed. For a couple bucks of savings why take the chance.
I would check e-bay for the steering wheel.

Recommended oil and fuel use.

Use High quality low ASH API TC Injector oil.
Do Not use NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils or other ash less type 2 cycle oil. Avoid mixing different brands of API TC oil as resulting chemical reaction will cause severe engine damage. Never mix Mineral or synthetics oil together.

Never use fuel containing more than 10 % alcohol,( Methanol or Ethanol) as severe damage will occur. The minimum of 87 octane is recommended for most engines.

If you have any other questions give us a shout.

Oils.....

There are two other oils that Seadoo endorses for use in their watercraft and they are the mineral and synthetic blend of the "Quicksilver" brand oil. First, you have to determine what type of oil your running now. If you don't know, I'd suggest you buy the synthetic blend, remove all the old oil by sucking it out with a shop vac or some other type vac, through the inlet rotary chamber hose.
Then, replace the oil. If you don't remove the oil in the injector lines, you'll be able to just re-fill the oil tank and be ready to go.
I've been using the "Quicksilver" oil now, going on my second season. Pistons look good..........so, I'll continue to use it. I don't have a Seadoo dealer near.
Oh yeah, that oil can be bought at Wal Mart. When looking at it (I buy the gallon jug), turn it over and read the back label to make sure it's the type for Seadoo's.........they make several blends, so make sure you get the correct one!...........
