I just got done installing the new motor and I noticed that while the motors running that the oil supply line with the online filter on it when you manually push the lever all the way forward as to facilitate wide open throttle the oil isn't advancing on either motor. I did replace all the oil supply lines from the tank... I guess my question is should that supply line go slightly downward to the oil pump or can it pull the oil upward a bit?

you have to open the bleed screw on the pump BEFORE doing the small oil lines. Let it gravity feed through the supply line first for a few minutes, put a white rag or paper towel in the bilge below the pump till you see it come out the pump, then close the bleed screw. DO NOT run the engine very long with no oil to supply lines or you will damage engine. I would put a squirt of some injection oil down the flame arrestor in both carbs first before running it if you dont see oil coming through, should take maybe 1-2 minutes to see the oil but run the boat on water hose while doing so to keep motor cool.
