Repost from Prem. area to here, any help would be much appreciated!

Hi, I noticed a leak around the oil level sender, so I figured the gasket was shot, so I bought a new sender, and it still leaks? Any ideas, also the vent hose is full of oil all the way to the check valve is that correct? the valve is facing as the parts manual shows, with the black side attached to the clear hose, a little confused, I keep loosing oil because of this and not sure what to do now. I blew in the clear side and it sent air to the oil tank, is that the correct direction, let air in, then it backed up with oil and started seeping out. the end of the valve.

opt...the end you blew air into, should be the end that the oil return line, connects to...as far as sender, with it bounc'n around, probably oblonged the hole, thats why still leaks, try silicone...

the new one went in pretty snug, but I will try some silicone, any recommendations, so the vent is installed correct? thanks
