2003 GTX 4-TEC. Help, has anyone experienced a problem with Eingine Oil leaking into the Coolant system? Started in 2003 and the dealership attributed it to human error. Has happened now 4 times with the last occurance happening over the winter - it hasn't been started from when it was winterized and oil is in the coolant, again.

Any insights would be appreciated!

Great question

The dealership has contended from the beginning that it was Human error and I contend that is crap. Best way to know is the fact I picked it up from winterization and put it in indoor storage about a block away.

The cooling system has been flushed around 9 times and oil still is appearing.

Any ideas?

You need to do a leak down test of the system and see where it is coming from. It sounds like a bad gasket or crack somewhere. Do you have a seadoo repair manual. It's in there if you have one.If you want you could join as a "premium member". As a premium member you can down load a authentic seadoo manual from the seadoo manual library. In the library is a variety of manuals for almost all years and models. You can view as many as you like on line as a PDF file, or download it and print it for your personal and privet use. There are operator manuals and repair manuals for you to do your own repairs on your seadoo. The repair manuals have everything from troubleshooting, repair procedures to winterizing. It contains wire diagrams torque specs and pictures for disassemble and assemble instructions. In the spec sheets it tells everything needed to maintain oil changes, spark plug gaps, carburetor rebuilds and impeller wear ring tolerances. Click on the "Seadoo Manuals" link at the top of the page for more details. If you need any help or get in a jam, we are always here to answer your questions too.
It might a little detailed to describe in the forum on how to do a leak down test.

i hope you have receipts from all the way back to the first occurance. because they have put you off until they no longer have to cover it under warranty. good luck.
