I have excess oil in the bottom of my boat. In talking with the dealer, he said that there were two piece oil reservoir tanks that are well know for cracking and leaking. Would anyone know if the 2003 GTI LE RFI has these tanks? Also, any instructions on how to replace. I am searching the manuals to find tips.

I have see lots of seadoo's need new injector tanks...wave jumping will do that. Just unbolt it and add oil back to new tank being careful not to drain the oil lines. Keep a close eye for air bubbles...Use a pan to catch the mess if you can.

i needed one for a speedster. $75 from seadoo new. at that price, don't mess with a used one. it is just as old as yours.

Thanks for the confirmation.

What is the best way to order the part - go to the dealer? Or can you order on-line from someone or the manufacture?

Also, I was reading the manual last night and I understand that air bubbles are bad. The manual also talked about a pressure test. Is this test really necessary? If (more likely when) I get the air bubble, what is the easiest way to get it out?

You can click on teh "parts" link at the top of the page for parts.
The test might not be necessary. Just watch for bubbles if you drain the lines and refill them.
