Oil in bilge. But, oil level hasn't changed?!?

Ok. So, I was working on the boat, and noticed some oil come out of the drain plug. Checked the dipsticks on both engines, and they are on the same place as last week. Where could it be coming from? I had both jet pumps removed and new seals and bearings, installed. Reverse brackets were rusted in place, so I replaced them as well. Shifter was tight, turned out to be the linkage in the back, which was also rebuilt. Boat is running great... Engines are synced. I am stumped. I realize that I should take it out, with the engines exposed, and have someone look for a leak or spray, but other than the oil filter cap, and the main seal, where should I look?

Look at the center of the oil filter cap. There is a small o-ring under the cover, and when mine leaked I got enough oil in the bilge to make a mess but I never saw a drop of the level on the dipstick.

Wipe the top of the oil filter with a clean rag and look to see if it is even slightly oily. Once I replaced the o-ring my cap is always free of oil.

Glad to hear it was something simple. I wonder why the oil change kit does not contain that o-ring. Seems like it should...
