Thank you in advance!

I have a 2001 Seadoo GTX (Carb). My brother in-law borrowed the unit but conveniently left the Seadoo XPS when he picked it up. He purchased this Quicksilver synthetic blend and added it to the oil tank (which was very low) and then sent me a picture of the bottle and asked if it was the right stuff. Will this be alright to ride for a few hours until I can add the correct SD oil back or should I drain the oil and find the correct oil?

Disclaimer: I usually don't allow people to borrow my stuff but I wanted my nephews to actually have fun this holiday weekend. Thanks again for your assistance!

To be safe I would drain it, there is a chance the oil could gel and clog the filter. However, when I first got my ski I mixed the XPS with what was probably tc w3 and ran it like that for around 30 hours before I changed the filter, zero gelling but I could have easily been very unlucky and killed my engine

Thank you, Mraw! Is there a drain plug or should I buy an electric pump and suck it out?

The easiest way would be to get a cheap hand transfer pump, i got mine from menards for 10 bucks, i think harbkr freight has a cheap one aswell

When I bought my Gs the previous owner was running quicksilver synthetic in it I waited until tank was almost empty and filled it with XP’s. And I have Had no I’ll effects. However that is my experience and yours may be different.
