Oil Change ?

I am familiar with all types of motors including 2-strokes but only with dirt bike 2-strokes. Does the 717/720 Sea Doo Sportster 1800 need an oil change? Dirt bikes have wet clutches and need oil changes is there any type of oil or lubricant other than greasing joints that would need replacing or servicing?

Nope, no oil in the crankcase, no clutch, it's direct drive. Yes your boat does require routine service, the best advice I can give you is to download a service manual for your boat.

I thought so but that also seemed too good to be true as I would have thought there would have been more to do. I have yet to get a service manual, maybe after I stop replacing parts I can afford to be a premium member
