There's alot more to it than just sticking the pipe down the dipstick. You gotta know how deep it should go. And you gotta crank the engine in "drown mode" at least 3 times to get the maximum oil out. You gotta connect the flush hose to your engine and rev it up to 4krpm for about 10 seconds to get the oil out of the PTO housing. I still have not found a write up on this as far as steps goes. I bought a hour meter at sears for $5.00. It is meant for lawnmowers but it looks and fits great in my engine compartment. It only reads when the engine is turned on and its VERY easy to install. Im changing my oil once a year at the same time i do my spark plugs.
