OK so first I must admit I screwed up and did not get the oil changed in my Speedster this year. early end to the season (Michigan) and just never had it done , then I winterized it myself.
Now as we hope to get out of the winter blues here and looking at mid to upper 40's by the end of the week my mind has started to wander to the opening of boating season. Point is I've started to read some postings about the "old" oil sitting while in storage.
I've convinced myself I won't let this happen again but really want to know if I will regret this in the Spring. What, if anything, do I need to watch out for to understand there is any damage to the internals. I tucked it away in October and never got the chance to run it since Labor Day. It's likely it will be a full five months
