I know to turn the screw and wait until oil comes out, but which line am I looking for air bubbles? The 2 little ones from the pump to the RV, or the one from the pump inlet to the reservoir?

The 2 RV lines are painted silver = can't see inside.

When you turn that bleed screw the oil will seep from the oil tank to the pump. When no air left in the hose you then must get oil to the motor through the 2 smaller lines going behind the carbs.

Some people will hole the pump wide open and start the motor until you see oil at the cylinders.......other (I like this way better) will remove the plug wires and ground them then hold the pump wide open and just crank the motor for about 10 seconds at a time until you see oil.

*****If your 2 little lines are still painted I would replace them with Tygon line 3/32 in size....any good mower shop, ACE Hardware, etc, will carry it.*****

open bleeder on pump, this in turn bleeds the line from the tank, and then with a drill in reverse you are supposed to bleed the air bubbles out the 2 lines that go to the nozzles, BUT................the silver paint on your lines is that thats the way they were painted in the factory in 1999, so, what year is this ???????? yep, they are that old ......... and need replaced ... any big lawnmower repair shop sell the 3/32 tygon hose for like 1.50 ft, the oil pumps rarely fail, the lines are what costs people there motors .......
