Oetiker clamps vs Vacum/Worm drive clamps

Might have to replace a few clamps and or fuel lines on my Sportster 1800. Any pro's or con's ya'll might want to share

Got my carb base gaskets in the mail yesterday so this weekend I'll be pressure checking lines and cleaning carbs. I'm ready to get the Sportster back in the water. Thanks for all your help..

I've read that the worm drive clamps can actually damage the hose either when you tighten it or from vibration. The next best thing I've found to oetiker clamps are smooth stainless steel fuel hose clamps (they look like worm drive except they're smooth on the inside w/o the holes)

They're called "German Gear Clamps". Don't ask me why... :confused:
