Oem or aftermarket throttle cable?

I just noticed the threaded end of the throttle cable on my Spx was broken. Does it matter if it’s oem or aftermarket for the throttle cable?

OEM would be the best but I have had good luck with WSM. PWC muscle sells them and might offer a forum discount.
