ok i have a broken male connector for my 94 sp and all the websites dont have it they say its obsolete its the plastic connector that the engine water outlet hose has on the end of it. a 20mm rubber hose fits on one end and it has threads on the other end that screws into a 45 degree piece that looks to be part of the exhaust but im not sure the piece goes to the cooling system and the part number is 293710030 does anyone know where i can get one the repair manuel says it is a calibrated fitting to limit water flow.

timmyboy, i put a link with a parts drawing its number 8 on the list, i found a piece at a hardware store but the inside diameter is larger and in the repair manual it says its calibrated to limit waterflow i thought about filling it with epoxy and drilling the right diamater hole but if i dont need to then i wont i was wanting your opinion on the issue or anyone elses for that matter.

sorry chip, i missed the thread....is there any way of tapping or using whats left, to hook hose to?
Its possible, to have idea the size of hole, or measure it, then, like you siad, fill it up, then tap new one, but, when tapping for new one, what about using a "main" jet for a carb?

what do you mean by using a main jet for a carb and what is this part for i thought it was for the cooling water to exit the circulation

yeah...if your hesitant on using the "hardware" fitting, then use a "main high speed jet" in its place. Looks like, its the water exit hose/fitting..

ok im not sure what a main high speed jet is where could i get one ...sorry im new to the seadoo thing.

shot you pm, stud...think'n, theres a reason that the "fitting" has small I.D. to it...back pressure flow?...So, the "hardware" fitting, may not work, unless you plug it up, thats why I mentioned about using a "main jet" from a carb.. By them, from any motorcycle/ski shop...whevther it be mikuni or keihen jets'

OK, after read'n your pm,..thought the "factory" fitting was sugnificantly reduced in I.D. size, not now'n had no taper what-so-ever...use the hardware one, stud..be ok.
