Reverse gates

Does anyone know if the reverse gate adjustment on a 200 speedster twin engine is the rod in the back that goes out to the gates or is it in the shifter itself. The reason i ask is we all know that these boats move forward while in neutral but i discovered sunday that if you move the shifter between neutral and reverse there is a spot where the boat will sit dead in the water and i would like to adjust it to that point. Anybody know?
Thanks bill

You could try that adjustment, but it has to lock in place in forward and reverse to work properly in those positions first. The adjustment is at the gate position.

Thanks Karl. That rod is really hard to get to with that rubber sleeve and snap that goes around it. I can't really get my hand in there.
But thanks anyway
