If its not please move this to the right forum.. I'm new here, and I'm looking at getting my very first Sea-Doo. Our friends, have had 4 Sea-Doos in the last 4 years. And I have finally decided that I want my own, so that I can ride them other places than just Lake Martin. I don't want to buy a new one, so my question is where do you buy a used Sea-Doo, I know ebay, but are there any other places, and where could you find the best deal for one? Oh and if I'm looking at getting an '04 or '05 what do you suggest I get

Roll Tide!....

Welcome to the forum. I guess that place is as good as any ohters for the post.

You being from Montgomery with a computer, go to AL.com and select to view the classifieds of the "Mobile Register". We have Seadoo's for sale here. It will give you a general price tag what your looking for.

As for what to get, it depends on what you want it for. Just ridin, then you'll want a muscle craft model, like the RXT. If you want it for boardin or tubing, then you'll want the recreation, like the GTI, or Wake model.

So, it's really up to what your looking for.

To find one near you, you may try the Craigslist or your local paper. Down here, on the Gulf Coast, there are several for sale, but they've spent most, if not all their time in brackish or saltwater.

Thanks, I actually didn't even think about this until sometime today, and decided to look at some of the Lake Martin marina's websites, and I found an '04 GTI LE for 5 Grand, I was looking at an 01 RXDI that someone was selling for 2,000. I would rather trust Kowaliga, for keeping up the condition more than some selling one for 2,000 and I could try the one on Lake Martin.. what do you think
