This isnt a Seadoo question but a JS550 question.

Just bought a JS550, and the cylinders are .4 overbored. I need a head gasket for it, do any of you know if I need a special head gasket for .4 overbored cylinders or you think a standard headgasket will work?

just as any headgasket......you need to mic the bore then check the exact standard bore.....if the standard head gasket is not big enough for the overbore then you will need to buy an overbore headgasket, most times an overbore will require an overbore gasket, however sometimes the headgaskets are large enough to accomidate a slight overbore. I have a 350 truck motor I just did going 30 over and a stock head gasket was not large enough....you have gone 40 over? If you can find stoke bore size on afactory headgasket then check what you have that will tell you best.
