First time out on this and rolled. Rolled it back over counter-clockwise as specficied in manual and on sticker. Motor started but sounded "gurgly" and did not have lots of power at mid throttle. New engine so we were not going past about 3/4 throttle anyway.

returned home and followed procedure for cleaning/flushing but hard to tell if motor noise was as should be when sitting on trailer versus in the water.

The clear tube that T's off two black tubes from/near exhaust appeared to have moisture in it.

Should we be concerned and what steps should we take to remedy any problems we may have caused.

THANKS

Any time you encounter a roll over and stall, get it fired up as quickly as possible and run it for a while, change the spark plugs if you have to. The trick here is to let any water that got inside the engine evaporate out while it is running. It will clear up eventually, unless you just let it sit there and allow it to form rust inside the engine.

K,

thanks. We got it back up and tooled around the marina for a while but not much above idle. Should I connect the hose and run it again for a few minutes on the trailer? Should I remove the spark plugs and look for H2O in the engine?

Thanks again

K,

also, the line I was referring to in the OP was the one that is just above the water supply hose used to cool the magneto in the lower part of the engine. I know you probably know what I meant, but I reread my OP and I did not think I described it well enough.

I just went and looked again and there are very fine droplets that almost look like condensation on the inside of the clear tube.

Hopefully my running it in the marina (approx 10 minutes) and again on the trailer (3 minutes) will have sufficed.
