how to change from cheap tcw3 oil to quicksilver full synthetic pwc 2 cycle oil (says it meets api-tc)

i have a 97 xp seadoo

Suck out all the tc-w3 oil and empty the lines too, so you get it all out. Then just fill your tank with the new oil. I would premix like 80:1 a few gallons just to make sure you get some lube at first. Open the bleed screw on the side of the oil pump to help bleed the lines from the tank. Run the motor on the trailer and the hose, and hold the oil pump open (by hand) to fill the lines.

the jetski has been working fine with the tcw3 though, so could i just suck the crap out of the tank, and put the new stuff in on top and not worry about the lines? i know i will mess something up bleeding the lines ect ect

I'm surprised nothing has happened to it running tc-w3. Rotax motors do not like it at all. My 951 blew up from the previous owner using it. You can suck it all out and put all new oil in. Its not hard to bleed it, quite simple, takes a few mins of time but ensures correct setup.

I have heard of bad things happening to some oils when they are mixed together... If it was my machine I would take the extra time to do it right..

+1. Oils can interact very weird and bad things happen.

Howcome, we always never seem to have the time to do it right the first time, but always have time to go back and do it again. Take your time, do it once, do it right. Simple, easy, done and gone with.

+1. Don't mix Big warnings in manuals as well. Do not use tcw3 oil and do not mix different oils. Especially different brands.

Where do i start to empty the lines, is there anything else i have to empty other then the lines and the resevoir, and what precautions am i in the lookout for?

Start by emptying the tank, and pull the line off the rotary valve and the oil pump and let it drain out. Then, put the fresh oil in, and leave the oil tank cap off for a lil bit to help bleed the lines feeding everything. I would run like 80:1 to give some oil and do not go full throttle for a few gallons and let the pump prime itself. Or, mix like 2 gallons, start on the trailer and hose, and manually hold the oil pump wide open while at idle, to bleed the lines faster. I've done this method close to ten times with no problem.
