No water coming out and not starting

I have a 2002 Utopia 205. It has the Mercury 240 EFI. The last two times I took it out, after we stopped in the lake, it would not start. After a while it finally would though.

The last time I took it out, I docked it and left it running, backed the trailer in, and when I was talking back to it I noticed smoke was coming out of the little hole in the back where water usually does.

Any ideas of what the problem is and how to fix it?

You have a plugged up cooling system.

Take every hose off, and blow though them with compressed air, until you find the obstruction.

Hope you haven't cooked the engine.
