Have new wear ring in now all went well.. Thanks to everyone who helped!

New issue now ...NO SPARK at plugs. Had this happen once last year. Sometimes had spark sometimes no. All I checked so for is connections. Could anyone teel me where to start? Thanks

2 fuses in the mpem. inside the grey box in front of the motor. although if it got intermittant last year, i would suspect the mpem is dying without blowing fuses. you need allthingscustom for that. he rebuilds them.

Don;t think it's the safety lanyard it turns over just no spark at plugs.
As for as the fuses they ohm but I went ahead and replaced them still no spark. What part of the mpem could be dying?

first; yellow or white motor? this is only about white ones. the mpem only has 1 part. at least to you and me. i am a pretty fair wrench and i do copiers for a living. lot of electronics involved. but i am not going to try to figure out how to work on these guys. the mpem is the 1 by 2 by about 5 inch block the fuses are in. multi purpose electronic module. on this year it really has only 1 purpose. ignition control. these guys are between $50 and $100 on ebay, and you have no idea what you are getting. the seller can give you a good one and a blown or water damaged stator in your ski could kill it immediatly. they can give you a bad one and say your ski killed it. or you did by hooking it up wrong. go to ebay. he also sells seadoo parts. here is an item number for a part he sold me. 380019132623. type into search block, you will find him and his stuff. talk to him. he can fix it and he can test it.

Thanks for the info. I checked with allthingscustom and he said he only pepairs the 5 amp fuse or something??
Anyway still digging starting from what karl said with the kill switchand going from there.

That year seadoo has a Electronic module and not a MPEM,(Multi Purpose Electronic Module). The main difference is that the electronis module does less thanthe MPEM. In any rate, here is the complete tests for testing the Safety Lanyard and the Start /Stop switches;

Check the continuity of the Safety Switch Lanyard. It is normally "open". The color codes of the 2 wires are Black and Black/Yellow. These feed back into the electrical module box. The Start /Stop switch is normally "open". The color codes of the 2 wires are Black, that goes direct to ground, (to stop the engine), and the Yellow/Red that goes to the electrical module box. Check the continuity of this switch too.

If we can do anything else let us know.

Karl
