Random question, Ive been slowly doing a jetski project and Im swapping components to an SBT motor.

I just took the PTO Coupling off, that thing that is like 200 FT Lbs and takes a lever longer than the jetski to get off, I used the PTO spline tool, huge PITA by the way.

Anyways... I prepared for the flywheel to also fight me on the way out, but once I got the coupling off, flywheel bolts removed, the magneto and flywheel just came off by hand.
Why do so many people need to buy a fly wheel puller to get it off when mine just came off by hand? Not getting something here...

Because the 2 stroke flywheels are pressed onto a tapered shaft and the 4tecs are simple bolt ons. Don't confuse the 2 as they are completely different designs.
