well i took my GTX into the shop b/c i was having problems with the check engine light coming on the last time i took it out. everything was running great no trouble while i running on the water but light kept coming on. after the tests @ the shop they came to a conclusion that there was nothing wrong and i had no fault codes. a lil dissapointed but happy at the same time :D

I think it was worth the money!

It was money well spent!.......It would be my luck that I'd had just said, "ah, it ain't nothing, the light will go back off!".....then a couple hours later the engine would blow apart.........oh,oh, I guess it was something!....
My point.... in these high tech machines and the money involved, your money spent with the diagnostic should be considered money well spent.....imagine the cost of repairs!.........Wow, don't even want to go there!...Knock on wood

Glad to hear you got a clean bill of health!

I am having the same issues with a 03 gtx 4 tec and no fault codes are showing up, so its of to the shop,(a different one than it's been going to) to see if alls ok.

Last time i had an alarm issue it took the local Sea-doo dealer 2 weeks and 3 trips to fix.(oil sending unit, both)

Why?.......

Why you want to take it to the shop?.......I wouldn't worry about it until it went into limp mode or threw a code that gave you reason to take it in. These things have so many sensors, that you may have a blip in one, get a light, then everything may be o.k..........

Wait till you get a code. Some of the 4-TEC codes are able to be seen in the manual. But most have to go to a dealer to be looked at through B.U.D.S.......which I'd ask for a printout if this what I had to do.
