i have a similar problem too. I just unhooked my battery to put a new one in and i think the cables may have lost connection while replacing the battery because i hooked up the new battery and im getting no power. I put my lanyard in and get no sign of power. The display doesnt turn on, no gas gauge, no beeps. Im getting a bit frustrated. Please help

Hey. I moved your post and started you a new thread.

Make sure that "new" battery is fully charged. Most of them come dry and you have to add the stuff and charge it up. If everything was working before the battery swap, the new battery is probably the culprit.

well i bought a west marine battery which is rdy to go once you buy it. Its a sealed battery which needs no addition of acid. And my older battery was working as well, just wanted to make sure it wouldnt die out on the water and have that ruin the day so i bought the new one as backup. I took the old battery off to trickle charge it and when i tried it, i got no power. Then i got curious and tried the new battery and still nothing. I believe it has to be the battery cables or something else, almost positive its not the battery. Thanks for the reply

Make sure you check all the fuses, I was out riding one day and the ski just totally died. I removed and replaced the DESS key and still nothing happened. Had to get towed in. I went over the ski and found a fuse in the grey box in the bow that was blown. Replaced the fuse and the ski has been right ever since.
