Had the bogg down blues for a while. Bit the bullet, replaced fuelines, filters, fixed gas gauge while at it.
Took carb apart per some instructions found here. Carb filter was disgusting. I cleaned it really well. sprayed various holes on carb with cleaner (after dissassembling and removing gaskets/o-rings, etc., slow and high speed screw) Looked pretty good all said and done.
Re-assembled, without performing pop off test, or adjusting the needle lever thing at all, and without a rebuild kit.
Cranked starter for a while, main filter fills with gas, no start.
Checked spark, check.
Turned over without plugs in, no visible sign of fuel entering the cyclinders, only puffs of air.
If i spray some carb cleaner down the flame arrestor it will crank up for a second.
Any ideas on how to figure out why no fuel is getting to the cylinders.
Should I break the carb down again and redo it all?
Thanks,
Peter
