Hi all I am new here and need some advice or direction. I bought my gti 130 10 yrs ago new, used it a couple times and then it sat for the past 9 years so it needed lots of tlc which I have been teaching myself since the guy at the service place basically quoted me the cost of just getting a used one to get it going. I’ve drained all the bad gas,and oil. Waiting for the oil filter and rings since I misplaced the other ones I had and it’s just easier to buy them. I bought a new battery last year when I first decided I would get it running again even if it meant learning how to maintenance it myself. So my question is since it’s a closed loop system where would you hook a hose up to? I honestly don’t know too much about jet skis but I like to think I’m a quick learner and not afraid to get my hands dirty and I prefer to know the essentials of whatever I own such as being able to change oil etc. is their anything else that I should be checking?

Also a newbie, but I understand that the hose connection is in the back just to the left of the jet pump.

Very important!!!

1. Start ski.
2. Turn on water supply ASAP
3. Run for 3-4 minutes MAX
4. Turn off water supply
5. Turn off engine

If you run the water without the engine running, you will flood the engine with water.
