new wear rings

just installed two new wear rings on my 96 speedster. the old rings had about 1/8 to 1/4" space between it and the impeller. with the old rings it would take forever to get the boat to plain and top speed was right around 45 mph. what kind of improvements will ya'll think ill see with the new rings installed. wont be able to take the boat out til next week so i was wondering??? thanks

Hole shot!......

You should be very happy!......you'll notice an increased amount of speed out of the hole!

What did the impellers look like? They weren't dinged bad, where they?

the flat ends looked alittle ratty, i believe they might be original to the boat

You can get remanafactured OEM specific impellers from SBT for $35 bucks...
