New wear ring went in pretty easily. Should I lock-tite it?

Took a slight pounding from a small hammer and a piece of wood across the top, but went in surprisingly easy, without soap or other lubricant.

Just wondering if I should put some adhesive in there to keep it from spinning in the hole.

Just afraid the next one would be much more difficult to remove if I did it.

No, don't use anything but crunchy peanut butter...skippy is perfered. I like it on whole wheat...oh for the wear ring use nothing... it will stay in place without any help.

Seal....

Actually, that outer rubber part of the wearing ring, which is about 1/4 inch wide, is what seals against the hull when you tighten the bolts. So it won't turn when installed properly.....
