New utopia owner! What maintanance on a boat with no history?

Hi Guys,

I got myself a Utopia, but with no history.
Before I get i out to the water I would like to do all the maintanance thats possible, just to be sure.

So far I downloaded the Sticky regarding the gear and stator oil, that will be done.
Further questions:
1: What about the cooling system, how can I check that all the lines are free and cooling is working properly? (I was reading about a water pressure check, is that necessary?)

2: The other question, what timing advance do we have to see at idle? Its sounding a little rough.

3: How do I measure impeller clearance? (just stick the feelergauge between the wearring and impeller?)

1) No good way to check that. But it's a simple system. Put it in the water, and make sure water is coming out the pee hole in the back.

2) You need the manual if you are going to play with the links. But, without knowing what engine you have... I can't give you a real answer anyway.

3) Yep. Just put a feeler gauge in there. I think spec was 0.040" or smaller.
