What other BRP toys do you have? Here's my 12' Commander 1000xt,

Well.... I'd say something negative... but this is a BRP friendly board. (lol)

Seriously though... very cool. I looked at those when they released the 1000.... but they were HUGE!! All the trails here in PA are tight, and I bought my RZR to chase my buddies on ATV's. (I have a bad back, and bad knees) With the Polaris Products, they make a 50" wide, the "S" at 60" wide, and the "XP". (It has 16" of wheel travel) I bought the 50" and massaged the suspension a bit. It's been a great toy... and it makes moving the islandia around the driveway easy. AND.... they make short work of plowing the driveway. :hurray:

Love the pics!! Huge is right! I have to pack a chainsaw in the little cubby bed, lots of old abandoned railroad trails i'm okay on them but off the beaten path she gets tight!! Plow is first thing I want to get, glad to hear your can pull the islandia around. I'll def be okay with my speedster. Can these little things pull them outta the lake? Or is that a bit too much for the cvt belt?

In low range... they pull pretty good. I'm not sure how the Commander works at low speed... but on a RZR, in low range... my belt is fully engaged at about 2200 RPM, and at about 3 mph. My Islandia on the trailer (with water, fuel, and gear) is around 5200 to 5400 Lbs... so I'm not sure I would try to pull it up a boat ramp or not. The big problem is... my RZR is only 1000 Lbs. (actually 950 Lbs dry) So... the boat can pull/push it easy if things go wrong, since it out weighs it by about 5x. Around the house... it stays on the flats, and I don't go faster than a crawl.

Your speedster is 2800 Lbs dry... so let's say 1000 Lbs for the trailer, fuel, and gear... so, you are around 3800 Lbs, and the commander with fuel is about 1600. As long as you have a low range, and the ramp isn't too steep... you should be OK. With that said... I wouldn't tow it too far. Trying to go 10 or 15 mph for a couple minutes will be the death to the belt.

Oh... speaking of the belts... you should get a spare, and keep it in your buggy. (and know how to change it)

I haven't gone out hunting in a few years. Since the kids came... it seems like I just have too much going on. The wife was yelling at me this year about some venison. Maybe next year I'll get a deer.
