hello sorry if i post at the wrong place but i am new to this
it is my 1st pwc a 1990 gt 3 seater ... got it last sept ( it was running ok for the 4-5 minute I try it lol ) it was my winter project witch turn out pretty nice . Did the seat, body work, change color ECT ... I finally went for a spin and I have a little problem.... it is hard to start. then when it start I have no power for about 1 or 2 minute even though I am holding the gas to max (no choice or it die).. It feels like it is flooding and until the extra fuel is burn I have no power, after that it is pretty cool .... until I let go the throttle then same thing ... no power ...like its flood ...I did try to search the site but after reading for 2 day I am all confuse ...so before I bring it to the shop and spend lots of money ..Is there something I can do??? tonight I change the spark plug ... and I am trying to change the fuel filter but I don’t know where it is ... I did dl the manual but i cannot see where it is ... any imput would be apreciated ...bad or good ..

hey.....congrats on the purchase....go thr uthe fuel system, carb/s,..follow the lines from tank, you find the filter, clean/replace fuel selector, but most attention on carb/s...Theres filter in each. If grey fuel lines, replace them with 1/4in fuel hose from autozone..etc. Considering its a 90', I'd purchase the rebuild kit for carb/s....

k i find the fuel filtrer and replaced it... same with the spark plug .. they all look pretty good ...cant wait this weekend to try and see if it work better

I think you are going to be disappointed. You are going to need to rebuild the carbs or clean them out at minimum to set things right.
