Hey what's up?
My name is Kenneth and I've recently got into 2 stroke Seadoos.
I have a 95 SPX with finger throttle, 14/19 solas, r&d extended rideplate, solas intake grate, and hydroturf. Pretty much stock otherwise. It did 49mph GPS with me on it last week on the Colorado River outside Laughlin.
I also just picked up a 1996 Seadoo XP last Thursday in Blythe. So far I've replaced the fuel lines, fuel petcock and battery with an AGM. Haven't had it on the water yet other than the test ride but it seems okay. Had 140 compression when I bought it.
So what I'm looking for is advice and probably hard to find parts.
My list for the XP is worx sponsons, worx grate, worx trim tab, r&d nozzles, skat trak impeller (14.5/22.5?) and an aftermarket handlebar setup which would require switch holders which I have yet to find on Ebay which is part of what brought me here.
With the XP I'd reallt like strong acceleration and hopefully to get into the low to mid 60s. The SPX I'm not gonna do much else with as its my loaner ski.
Happy to be here!
