Hi guys just bought a new rxt x 300 . The dealership gave me insane offer on my 08 rxt x so I bought one . Bad thing is they will not let me have it until they perform all the service bulletins on it . I
really like that seadoo put a battery tender in it they said battery will last 7 years. Also during break in period do you guys think it would hurt engine to pull tubes during break in . Also I like the tilt steering on it . I am posting pics

That looks sick! And my 2 cents is not to pull tubes till after break in as that puts extra load on the engine..

IMHO extra load and heat cycles on the engine during break in is a good thing. Don't ride it like you stole it but don't baby it either.

Different stokes for different folks do whatever you are comfortable with.

This is from SeaDoo- "With Bombardier-Rotax® watercraft engines, a break-in period is required before operating the engine at full throttle. Engine manufacturer recommendation is about 10 operating hours.

During this period, maximum throttle should not exceed 3/4, however, brief acceleration and speed variations contribute to a good break-in. Continued wide open throttle accelerations, prolonged cruising speeds and overloading the engine are detrimental during the break-in period."

doesn't specifically says tubing but falls under overloading in my opinion during first 10 hrs as you said tho diff strokes...

I actually did read that when I first got my ski last year cuz I was impatient to get to using my tube and ski's ect and wanted to justify it to myself and like the very first line says "very controversial topic" Personally I ended up just taking it east for first 10 hrs then went full bore. As much as I spent on the ski 10 hrs is a small price to pay to make sure nothing breaks or gets damaged. With good maintenance, common sense and a little luck I will have many many hrs to come!

Rode my buddies and its insane 70+ MPH

Bring gas we rode today and he had to refuel!

Hi guys thanks for input probably will take it easy short bursts for first 10 hours . Then pull tubes . Found out dealer still has not got new head bolts from seadoo yet on service bulletin been a week so far hoping to ride end of month .
