I have a 1998 Sea Doo GS. It belongs to my neighbor.
We went to the lake yesterday, and it ran fine, until we turned it over. Now it won't take more than 1/4 throttle. I suspect junk in carb. Is there a way to simply drain the carb, or is this a major operation?
If we get it running right, I will probably wind up owning it. My neighbor wants my 4-wheeler in trade. They are about equal in value.
But I don't want to trade, until I get it running right.
It has the 719 cc motor, (85 hp)
I have ordered a shop manual for it.
Thank you,
Nate
PS, I think I found the answer.
1.) New fuel lines, (It still has the grey ones!)
2.) Clean out fuel tank, switch valves, and probably a carb kit, to get all the leftover pcs of the gray fuel lines out of it.
I got that here: http://seadooforum.com/showthread.php?t=5563
PPS, My Gawd, these fuel lines are not easy to replace!
