Hi everyone-

I am the new owner of a 2007 Challenger 180 215HP with 14 hours on it, and I had a couple of questions. I looked through the previous threads, and I apologize if these questions have already been answered.

1) I consistently get a message that says 12V Low, and an error code of P0562. First time it happened, the boat started spitting, sputtering and ran very poorly. I used a jump box that I had on board to get it restarted, as the battery would not restart it on its own. It would run fine for a short time and then spit and sputter again. Jump box, restart, and fine again for a minute or two, and then the same problem. I got it onto the trailer, installed a new Optima Marine battery, and went back out the next day. This time the battery light flashed briefly, went out, and all was fine. Took it for a one to two hour ride, all was good, except it would do a warning beep now and then. Not a real pattern to it, and no visual indicators on the dash. Next time we took it out, boat ran great, it only beeped three times on the whole trip (1 1/2 hours), but the 12V low was indicated along with a flashing battery light. No problem in how it ran, started, or anything else - but still the warning message and battery indicator. Any input on the 12V problem, or the random loud warning beeps?

2) I can only get the boat up to about 38-39 MPH on smooth water, and it does not seem to get out of the hole like I expected. I visually inspected the impeller and nozzle from under the boat, and saw no obstructions. Any input?

Thanks in advance - I really appreciate the input!:)

Well, Super Charged model? It only gets low rpm's...I bet it's the super charger has problems...like the washers went bad. You coule check the battery connections and the ground to the starter, but the main concern is the super charger needs repair.

No, you missed my point...what is the top rpm's? If it doesn't have any it is the super charger. If you can't get over 6500 rpm's then you found your problem.

Did you ever find out the problem with the random beep. My 07 c180 is doing the exact same thing. It has no.problem running. Runs great but keeps random beeping. I could use some help cause the dealer can't tell me amything.

There was a melted inline fuse folder that was causing a short which in turn caused the beeping. Repaired under Sea-Doo extended warranty. Good luck!
