Hey all, I just picked up a used RXP300, a 2016 with 19 hours and I had some questions about some stuff I noticed and since I don’t have a shop I really trust I figured I’d ask here. I noticed two things on this PWC that stood out, one there was marine RTV around the plastics that seal the rear of the hull that’s plastic to the ski (it seems like it could be OEM but I’m unsure as the application is “generous”) and the wear ring has some very minor and not deep circular wear marks which from what I researched could be normal after installing a new wear ring, and since this ski only has 19 hours I’m assuming could happen to a new wear ring installed from the factory, they’re also before the actual impeller so from what I can see they shouldn’t affect the clearance between the two parts. I am mechanically inclined as I fix cars for a living but I’m still learning about PWCs so any advice in terms of what to pay attention to mechanically is greatly appreciated. Other than the obvious check oil and coolant as I’m paranoid and that will always happen.
