new motor wont stay running

Hello, I have a 2000 xp seadoo,and I had a new motor put in by my father in law. ithas coming out of the botton fuel line but does not suck to the top. this is what he tells me anyway. we try to start it and it runs for a second and dies and then it we not start up agian. we change spark plugs, but we dont know what else to do. can someone help please before I have to send it to the shop.

Sorry but we need a better description of the problem... based on what i think i read, i would think the fuel lines are connect wrong.

make sure the battery is good and charged, then dump a cup fuel of gas into plug holes, to help prime system.

is it a spark problem or fuel we need a little more to go with.

that might be it and if you don't get anything from the on try turning it to res to see if it's plugged!
