Heck I got a new Casio, BOULDER "GzOne", from Verizon...water resistant with a built in flash light and compass, bluetooth. It's a first ever that's good in the water at 1M for 30 minutes...I lost 3 phones from water incidents in the past 2 years. With insurance it still cost me on the old ones...not any more, I hope. :rofl:

You make a very good point.

A water proof phone sitting 9foot below surfice not good. But it does sound pretty cool!

If you drop a spark plug in the water will it sink or float... the point is I go through phones because of a little sprinkle on them. This one will endure that punishment. If your dumb enough to drop it in the water you deserve to lose it. There is no phne on the market that can take even a little spray of water and survive. I had a friend jump in the water with his blackberry...oops...junk.This one could easily take that abuse.

Yes It may take the abuse. But really, what good is a waterproof phone that you can not use under water?

I heard you can get a phone from wally word for about $20 and put your sim card in it for service. For me that may be the way to go. buy a cheap phone put in a ziplock bag. deffinatly dont want to take an iphone on the water. I would be a nice to have a phone with you if your out alone and run in to trouble.

This Phone has a compass and a flash light on it too... Like I saud I keep getting mine from water related problems...this Casio Boulder is perfect for me.

few time ago i brought a new latest i phone . it is fully loaded a new soft ware.

I had the iphone, but my reception was horrible. It'd show full bars then when you'd make a call would drop to none. And at sporting events, forget about it. ATT would get overloaded.

I liked the phone, but couldn't deal with the service.

Went to HTC Evo. It has it's quirks as well, but I can actually use it as a phone.
