Hello all,

I am new to this site and I a so frustrated I decided to join because these machanics around here seem clueless!

I have a 2007 SeaDoo GTX. When i first bought the machine, it was topping out around 59 MPH. After about 5 hours, it topped out around 54 so I lost power. last summer, I sucked up a rock and I was in need of a new O ring and impeller. I FINALLY got the cash to get a new inpeller and O ring. I got the stock O ring, and a new Solas impeller.....I believe its the stock pitch. NOW, it maxes out at 7800 RPM's coming out of the water and it still vibrates somewhat and its a dog coming out of the water....when I start to level off, it catches a little after a while and it tops out at 51 MPH. Whats the PROBLEM! It doesn't sound right coming out of the water! PLEASE HELP!!!

No...don't think so.....It is loose though when the whole housing is off....is it supposed to be loose?

I would recommend removing shaft and checking it. you would be surprised as to how much vibration can be caused even by the slightest bend or warpage. roll it on a table top to check.
