Hi,
We have a 2007 Seadoo Challenger, We just got it 10 months ago and we have only taken it out this summer, Not long at all.
Last week, As we were headed out of the marina, we were going slow as we were told to do. (we are new to boating The boat was running fine. As soon as we got out a bit and went to make it go faster, (like in a car, going from 1st gear to second) instead of the boat going faster it just sort of sat in one spot and revved up. Like it couldn't go into the second gear. Lots of rumbling and noise as we sat and tried to get it to go. Our friend checked to see if we sucked up anything and we didnt'. He checked the motor and it seemed fine. Where we purchased the boat doesnt' fix seadoo's. We can have a seadoo place check it but the fee to have them even look at it is 298.00. Wow. I would like to try and fix it ourselves, well my husband can try. Can anyone tell me where to start? Or are there guys who work on the side to fix seadoo"s thanks so much
