Hello everyone! Newbie to the forum here! I've just bought a used '97 speedster and have been looking for wake towers. There is a ton of them out there. Does anyone know which are the best towers for seadoos? Ones that won't damage the boat and cause hull cracks/fractures? Also saw something called an insanity pylon, sets up without any drilling or mounting. Uses cables through the front ubolt, front and rear cleats. Thoughts on what I should purchase please?

Welcome to the seadooforum DiveMode. Great picture of your jet boat. Both of the companies Kevin added addresses to are real good. I don't think Seadoo has a tower for your model and if they did it would be pricey I'm sure.

:)

Thanks for the compliment on the boat Karl, I'm pretty proud of it! It may not be much, but it's MINE! :) Thanks to you as well Kevin, I'll check those sites. I've found quite a few towers so far but I'm still concerned about cracking the hull or something. Don't wanna screw up my boat!

I wouldn't think that the wake bar would cause any problems or they would have changed the design. Contact the company and inquire about any stress problems you might have to worry about.

re: insanity wake pylon

Hi Divemode! I just joined this forum myself! Woo-Hoo!:hurray: Actually, I do happen to own a speedster myself and they sure are a blast, aren't they! Last year I saw a boat with an Insanity Pylon on it (since my kids have been hassling me to get something to help them get greater air and improve their wake board tricks) I decided to take a peek after they put it on the trailer. The owner saw me peeking and showed me how it worked and at first I was leery and thought it was a fluke, but I was totally amazed at how strong it was as he tried to shake it (notice I said "tried"). Then he tried to move the base, that didn't move either. Anyway, long story short, since we live in the Phoenix area, we called them later that evening and the manager hand delivered it and showed us how it worked on our boat. Needless to say, we love it and it was an awesome price. The service was great, the price was perfect, the padding stays really cool in the sun (thank god), and my kids love it. It takes us a little over a minute to set up. I've had it a little less than a year, and we use it all the time. We paid about $350 on sale, but I'm sure that if you google it you can get a better price somewhere. Their website is insanitypylons.com and they're open 24 hours, or you can call their 888 number (888) 209-5589. They do have a 30 day refund guarantee so you can try it. I was super impressed by their service though, that's why I bought from them. What good is something if there's no one to back it up, right? :hat:

H2o party,

Do you have any pics of your pylon on the boat. I am looking for one for my 2004 sportster Le DI. I would like a tower but I dont want to spend the money just yet.
