New grips

So looks like my covers has been rubbing on my hand grips and they are are falling apart. I took one off to see what kind of grips they are and they have a plastic hex on the end which matches up to one in the handle bar. I'm guessing this is normal.

So my question is do I have to get a factory replacement or do aftermarkets come with this as well?

As far as I know, only the factory grips have the hex piece. Also, SeaDoo changed from the hex system a few years ago so you'll need grips that were made for your model year.

I gave up quick and just bought the factory ones, if I don't like them I'll look into something else, the bars are stubby so I'm not sure what else I would get unless they came with some sort of extention.
