I'm new to seadoo's and this site. This summer we have been using our 23' Wellcraft's anchor more then the motor. I traded some roofing work for a 97 gs with a bad mpem. He had a new one installed $650, and did not replace his battery as recommended.
While waiting for Mike to repair the mpem I was cleaning and noticed the ground wire was half off. Maybe that was some of the problem. I also noticed some hoses that are not connected. The first hose is yellowed and runs along the right side of the boat and is connected to a barb on the front right side, next to a gray hose. It must be some kind of vent. It looks like the drive shaft wore a hole in it and it is not connected back by the motor,
The second hose is a harder plastic, it is 1/4 inch and is in the shape of an ear, If I straighten it it is 18" long. I have looked up and down and can not see where they go. Any ideas. Searching this morning it looks like I need to change out all the gray hoses. Any other recommedations.
