Does anyone know where the NSS is on my 99 challenger? I have read that it is in the control box, but I cant find anything online that will tell me where that is. Another question, does anyone know what the little switch below the throttle levers are? It has nothing to due with fuel reserve if that is what you are thinking. I think the NSS needs replaced judging by what I have read. The boat will start in gear, on my most recent trip it worked fine for a bit and then it would not get any (enough to limp back to the dock) thrust even though the engines were at 7k rpm. When the little switch below the throttle lever is switched one way it limits the engine rpm and when flopped the other they will run normal (usually), that did not work this trip.

Remove the control handles (FNR and the throttle levers), it's mounted on them, 2 wires (you have the right switch).

Thank you for the diagram, that is very helpful. Unfortunately I had already ordered the neutral safety switch and it is the wrong one.
