We purchased a 2001 seadoo speedster jet boat about 2 months ago, used of course. Trying to find operating and service manuals but the problem i keep running into is this.... I found the operators guide for the boat but in certain sections it says to refer to the M2 jet drive operators manual which i cannot find. I was able to find a service/shop manual on here for m2 jet drives models 210 and 240 but my husband says thats not what engine is in our boat. The motor itself says Rotax on it. So can someone please help me figure out the operating procedures for my boat because I dont know.....

That's a seadoo "rotax" 951. It uses a standard seadoo jet pump. So, in my eyes you dodged a bullitt by not getting the Mercury powered seadoo. I'd have to do a little leg work to figure some things out. Hopefully someone will chime in and give you some more data. I'm on vacation running on my phone and doing research isn't the easiest. Sorry about that. Thanks for posting the pics.

No worries, were all here to help, vacation or not. If I can get on a laptop I'll dig a little deeper.

That's not a Speedster... witch is why the manual seems to be wrong. The speedster would have had the Merc engine. It's Sportster LE. Nice boats... but not a Mercury.

As above... it's a 951 rotax engine. Totally different beast.

What are the last 2 numbers in the hull ID? That will be the year. Just want to verify the model for you.

The last 2 numbers are 01. And we did finally figure out and print the correct manual for the speedster le. Now the problem is that the boat will not start, no beeping noise when we plug the key in. Boat has new battery and starter relay and battery. Any ideas?

Check the fuses. You didn't happen to cross the wires or arc them accidentally did you? Is there a battery switch? Is it in neutral?

Yep, what he said. The MPEM is fragile. Hook up the battery back wards... or even try to start it with a charger hooked up, and you can wipe out the computer.

We checked the fuses we could find and they all seemed fine. The battery was unhooked the entire time we were installing the new starter and relay. Then put in the new battery and tried to start and nothing.

Have you put a meter on the battery to make sure it's OK? I've seen a lot of bad "New" batteries over the years.
