Could use some help please.
I have a 2011 Seadoo speedster 200,, twin 255’s.
Having issues with it starting. Battery is good and strong, when connecting the key everything cycles like they should, and I get 3 steady beeps. Won’t start. Take the key back off and it’s does it again, 3 steady beeps and nothing from the start switches. Repeat the process and get 4 quick beeps, I’m assuming 2 quick beeps per motor, then it fires right up. Take the key off and it may or may not repeat one or the other. It may start right up with the 4 beeps, or it may give the 3 steady beeps and nothing from the start switches. I’m so confused. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Could it be a key problem? I used to have a 2011 rxtx and it was extremely sensitive to the key being placed on the dess post exactly correct each time. When not placed just so it would give odd beeps. My keys were BRP brand not after market.

I’m certainly getting odds inconsistent beeps.

Could be as simple as your gate control not hitting the neutral switch just right. I panicked when I first got my Sea Doo....was out on the water, had stopped to jump in the water for a bit. Got back in and hit the starter switch....NOTHING! Thought for a second, wiggled the gate control forward then reverse, and then back into neutral....and that was it! Started right up!
