Need some helpful info on 1400 Jet boat please!!

I'm not new to jet skis but new to jet boats. I'm looking at a 1997 1400 challenger Jet boat that is in immaculate condition. It has the 110hp engine. I am a speed junkie and know there are more powerful crafts out there. What kind of speed can I expect out of this craft and how well will it handle skiers, tubing, etc. Thanks for any info!!

Welcome to the seadoo forum shockerfd. I own a 1997 Challenger with a single 110 hp engine. I love it. It pulls a tuber without any problems and has lots of power. With just me in at at 175# and a 1/2 tank of fuel I get like 50mph out of it. I think you would be happy with the one your looking at. There are lots of owners here that I'm sure will respond too.

Thanks for the welcome. As mentioned, this boat I'm looking at is in great shape and I'd hate to miss a good deal on it for fear of not having the power to do what I wanted. I know they were built to do the things I want but wanted some confirmation. I didn't want to make the wrong choice the first time. Thanks
