Hey everyone,
I married into a family of boaters and We are the first to buy a jet boat. So I’m kinda running rogue here as far as being able to ask one of the 20+ family members that live and breathe boats.
so I took my 1997 challenger 1800 out on Friday for a little boot with the father in law by our cottage, to tie the docks down in the winter so they don’t foot away they chain them to these 1 1/2 steel poles that epoxy’d into the rock. So of course there’s “land mines” in certain places. I just so happened to find one that was forgotten about. Didn’t puncture the main body, so no leaks but I definitely have to fix this. Anyone have any specifics on what to do? Not entirely sure if I should just do a fibreglass job or that 2 part epoxy stuff, I’ve attached a photo. It’s about a half inch dee in the worst spot.
Thanks guys!
