Need Info on chaging 1996 xp Impeller

pull the pump by removing the 4 13mm bolts from around the exit nozzle, remove the 10mm bolt from the steering and the bolt from the trim rod.
romove the 17mm nuts from around the pump, it should pull straight back and off at this point.( you may have the give it a good yank)
remove the 3 8mm screws holding the cone on, there will be pump oil running out( beware it smells horrible so do it out side)
clamp the pump shaft in a vice and you will need an impeller tool or old drive shaft to remove the impeller. i would give the wear ring a good look and replace it if it has any damage. when you install the new impeller make sure not to pinch the thrust bearing( make sure the impeller turns free before you tighten it up) then put it back the way it came out.( make sure to refill the cone with seadoo pump oil only)
