need help with Shuttlecraft Sport deck

I just bought a Shuttlecraft Sport Deck with the universal kit, however the person I bought it from kept their jetski(yamaha) since I didn't want it because I have a 09 Seadoo GTX.

The seller has no idea how to adjust the universal kit to fit my ski b/c its been that way since they got it.

Can someone help me figure this out? or provide a manual that came with these?

I figured out the width by adjusting the pins inside the hulls, now i'm getting hung up on the side rails/rub rails. I can see from others pics that the rub rail of my ski should sit under the little rubber wheel things and on top of the rail thats built in to the side piece. When ever I try to dock it it seems I get the port side of my ski in picture perfect but then half way in the starboard rub rail pops up and wedges right against those rubber wheel things.

Any help would be appreciated thank you,

Not exactly. I realized the new 4tec's hull design wasn't made to fit this design, so instead of using the pins to set the side rails width I used a spring on each side so that the rails move in and out as the front of the 4 tech passes it. I thought I had the height figured out too until I took it out on the water and as the shuttlecraft planed out it actually lifted the intake grate out of the water and caused the ski to cavitate. Do you have any experience with this?

I have the jet sport and I had some POL III rails. I got a good deal on a Virage TXi and thought 135 HP would move it better than my 97 GSX. well after I put them on I tried to load the Virage but it did not fit. Looked up the with and it is 49.3" wide. Then I measured the width and it was 47.5....shit! that was a lot of work and it is "the right rail" I have sent a email to the new makers and asked if the have a retro universial kit but they seem a bit wishy washy. The sport deck could be a option but I don't like the way they look...LOL.

Yeah those rail kits seem to be the biggest problem with the jet sports. I did read somewhere online were someone had the same problem as you and basically used that railkit as a template and modified it to fit the wider ski. Sounds like you can't use it right now anyway so whats the worse that can happen you mess it up and still can't use it.

Ok I know this is an old thread but I just bought an 01 Sport Deck and I want to get it set up......... Did you ever get it figured out?? Pics?
